So here we are, yet another friendly, helpful, social (insert random cuddly adjectives at will) guild with tabards, bank tabs and poor spelling.
So what makes us different? No idea, we just know that we are.
The charter members met up as part of Blood Elf Elite Army (bless you Roxie, we'll never forget), and set up CAE when our much-loved GM couldn't get online anymore. Most of us were level 78+, so we wanted a guild that could evolve into regular raids and heroics. But we never want to take ourselves too seriously; it's having a laugh, poking fun at each other and shrugging off the dungeon wipes with a grin that counts for a whole lot more. |

Ctrl Alt Elites are looking for (reasonably) mature players who can add something worthwhile to the guild. At present we don't operate a restriction on class, race or level. The aim is to make CAE a good, fun guild for raids and heroics, so we particularly want to hear from people who see this as a goal.
Our guild is based on the Azuremyst realm, so please note that we can't do much for you unless that's where you are too! |

Welcome to all the new recruits I hope you all stick around and enjoy life in CAE.
The biggest obstacle preventing us from raiding so far has been lack of numbers and players being too impatient and joining existing raiding guilds.
In recent days, thanks to heroic efforts by Alma our numbers have dramatically increased with more than enough 80's to form a guild raid. Now we just need to organise ourselves. Please visit the following forum thread and add your details.

The Raids Move On

Now that we're doing guild co-operatives midweek with Elensilatarand his lot and weekend assaults on Ulduar we're starting to look serious.
Prester, by contrast, now looks even more unattractive. A troll in a Hannibal Lechter facemask would give Hitler nightmares.
We're four-bosses-down in Ulduar now and Aariah came close to giving it all up when fatigue set in. She will be ours.
Oh yes, she will be ours.
Big thanks to Acute for advising us on the advantages of a ready-check, and yah poo to Gan for spending the evening face-to-face with humans. Thanks to you, the off-tank was a stranger.

Lupercusgore Lives!

A day rarely goes by without someone wondering what's become of our favourite cow-thing. Lupe's been missing from his usual position of standing at the front, taking the punches for us squishies, and we've missed the daft sod more than we expected.
So here's the news - his triumphant return can be expected within the next week!
Lupe provides real-life tankage for his rugby team. The bad news is that the repair bills involve a bit more than paying a vendor to fix your spaulders. He collected a serious leg break that's had him in hospital - and a world of pain - for the last few weeks.
The good news is that he's out of hospital and on his way back.

Ctrl Alt Elites have completed [The Fall of Naxxramas]

Yes, it is true, we are now officially a honest to goodness raiding guild. As of Tuesday 13th October 2009 we laid a smack down on Kel'Thuzad and all future incursions into Naxx will be for the purpose of farming.
Congratulations to everyone involved. Next stop Malygos.
OK... Malygos was hard with no trash mobs to fund repairs, so we gave up :) Next stop Ulduar! |
